just add: some melodies from nice to strange, some beats from break to straight and some ambiences, ranging from warm to chilly. from these ingredients tell some stories, of course about the “knights from the diving school”… quite a simple recipy. but you must be the right artist to do this, just like firnwald. on this guest release on tonAtom he takes us on an unbelievable course through the last 15 years of electronic music in 19 tracks one must have heard. and if you listen to him he guides us through his underwater world as seen through the porthole of a rusty, oil-stained submarine, through the glistening transparent-hull viewing section of a futuristic underwater glider and sometimes through the slightly fogged glass of his diving mask. This bard of the XXI century is well known in the scene for his work as manager of the austrian netlabel Laridae where he has published several releases that define the style and personality of Firnwald.
Idm epic, complex, mutating toward drum´n´bass or metal thanks to guitars, basses and instruments from the central european folklore.
